Sending PBN links to guest posts?

Anyone using guest posts as buffers?

The guest posts I get are typically the strongest links in my portfolio, and they're all ******** with either partial match or exact match anchors. I was thinking about blasting them with some PBN posts to give them a supercharge. Anyone do this? I figure:

1) Guestposts are the safest links you can get since they are quality content and if done right indistinguishable from real posts.

2) Since I'd be directing PBN posts at a guest post, I wouldn't risk a penalty.

Just looking for some feedback. I know it's not the most cost effective option but I think it could really pack some power.

Don't do this. That's a dick move. What if the PBN eventually get deindexed? (which I believe it will if you're using one-time payment PBNs from the marketplace). This probably won't affect you or your site but would definitely affect the site which accepted your guest post.
 
Other than it being a dick move, are there any reasons why it wouldn't be a viable option?
 
If you want to limit the risk to your money site from pbns I’d be creating buffer sites - either domains that you own or web 2.0s, then fire the pbns at those - then you are powering up legit and contextual links to your site that you can also remove if any issues.

But as said above, I wouldn’t mix pbn links with guest posts - guest posts are almost as safe as you can get and pbns are almost the opposite of that, so no benefit to mixing them. Imho.

I strongly doubt ALL the one-time fee PBNs on the marketplace are shit or will get de-indexed :p
 
Yeah just wait till they change these guestblogs links to nofollow. you will have aged links pointing to guest blogs that link with nofollow tag to your site
 
I'm glad you made this thread because I was wondering the same thing. On one hand, it seems like sending some links towards a guest post is beneficial for both parties, but some web masters may also get mad that you sent links to their site that they have no control over. How likely is it that they would know though?

I was also wondering if the same would apply to social profiles. Is it worth sending some links to your money sites fb / twitter / youtube page? What about Yelp ?

I would personally not bother sending links to fb/yt/etc as they have no-follow links. Doing link-building to those properties IMO is a waste of money and hopes.

About the "send PBN link to guest posts"... as long as the PBNs are good no webmaster will ever get mad. On the other hand if you send "200 PBN links for $5" from fiverr, then if webmaster sees that it will give you a hard time, or delete the page or redirect it. No one wants their site harmed. So, you can send links to other sites, but chose HQ links and maybe also ask approval.

Remember, no webmaster will anytime have problems if he receives some nice good links.

but that's just my 2c on the matter.
Actually, it's how I personally would think if I were an owner of a blog that allows guest posts.

If I were the one that gave the GUEST POST and later find out you sending crippy links to my site to boost your post on SERP.

1. I'll delete your post
2. I'll send super spammy links(GSA , SCRAPEBOX) ordered from Marketplace to your main site.

RULE : Don't even try if you conscience is judging you bro.
 
That is actually a pretty common and highly effective practice. You guys really think a couple of PBN links can do Neg SEO?
 
I suggest this way.
Guest post links = tier 1
PBN or web 2.0 = tier 2

Because Quality (natural) link must be made as tier 1 and rest should be tier 2.
 
Used to do this, works often since many bloggers don't know shit about SEO or PBN's at all. Although be careful, sent too many PBN's once and the blogger found out and was not happy at all..
 
Like you said it's not a very cost effective strategy.

I personally use guest posts to diversify anchors, nofollow/******** ratio and link type other than PBN homepages.

Try to negotiate guest posts that are actually getting juice from the homepage or at least category page. This can be something as simple as sidebar link to category page visible on the homepage as well.

This is a great alternative to tier 2 boost.
