sending messages still affective ?

i was curious because i remember back in the day i use to be able to send i think it was 20 messages per account per 30 min or something like that( and by back in the day i mean a year ago ) but the youtube layout changed so much do people still view there messages and is it harder to send them out now ? :chicken_w

sending messages is a fail idea.

everytime i receive an automated message (same guy sends me once a day) i flag as spam, block, and report the username to partner support.

oh and if i'm not doing anything important i dislike his video...if he has one.
