Sending messages as a new member

I've been a reader of BHW for a while now, but only just found a reason to actually join
I wanted to contact someone in here that people recommended to buy from. I didn't want to spam him or annoy him, just wanted to talk to him about a system he developed.

Problem is: I'm not allowed to write to him. I need to make 15 posts first.
However, according to the TOS (and normal standard for not trying to be a noob) I can't make 15 posts with "Great post I think the same"

Furthermore, I posted in a tread that I'd like someone to send me some examples. He PM'd me some examples and I wanted to reply back to his PM to me. This I cannot do either - also here I need 15 posts first.
I understand the 15 post rules to avoid spammers - but I could really use a work-around here. I'd really like to talk with these 2 guys now, but I'll have to start being a little spammy in treads to do so.

A work-around like new members having to pay a few dollars to send a message would be a great solution in my opinion. I'm sure I'll make it up to 15 posts in time, but right now I don't mind paying a buck or two to be able to send these guys a message

I think that you should pay a lot more than a buck or two to send messages. Otherwise we really will have a big problem with spammers on BHW

even after 5 yrs i still laugh at people bitching about making 15 posts
fck me ive done 100 posts a month average for 5 yrs

you just joined and are bitching after a day or 2 that u feel
it should be stopped dropped or charge
