sending emails through vps hosting

i bought vps hosting from namecheap

i am using pommo to send out mass messages

how do i make sure the emails hit the inbox

I don't know the software you use but I will try to give you a general answer.

The easiest solution but not very accurate it will be to use tracking. This can be done with a custom php/perl.. script or you can use Piwik. This doesn't have a build in function but on a quick search you can find the solution. This will show you what emails get opened (open not read). There may be others emails that got in the inbox but due to various motives the receiver didn't opened.

A second way it will be to look over the smtp logs. This way you can see what emails has rejected your email and for what reason. This will not mean that the others have entered, they may have been block by spam filters on email clients or things like that.

In short you can't have 100% accuracy here but combining this two methods you can get an idea of what happened with your emails

The BIGGEST thing is keywords. All spam checking uses keyword checks to see it you should inbox or not.
Also NEVER use the same link in an email more than a few times. NEVER Links can do and will make you spam box.
I like to use .tk redirects in my email camps. I only inbox about 70-80 percent... but when you are talking about 2.5 million emails a day... then 70 percent is tits my friend. Well good luck.

Some times you get an IP had been used before in a spammy way and had been blocked from main E-mailing providers (Gmail,yahoo, hotmail...) consider this point.

no matter what server u or i buy
if the mails get bounced too many
or too mant gets us unsubscribed
then be guaranteed that google and yahoo will throw emails in spam in 2 hours
solution: initially send in low numbers
lets gmail yahoo recognise u and ur ip as good
then gradually increase speed

anything else u try
throw 1000$ but i can bet ur emails will reach spam

Saying all this blunt and straight based on my long term experience in it

I have a free custom application which allows autoresponder and even tells u who opened emails from what ip
plus how many times
