Sending 25K cold emails per day (the math and costs)

Previously sent up to 2M cold emails per month, and I've been ask:

How would you structure a cold email infrastructure for 25K emails per day.

Here's my answer:

• 500 mailboxes (max. 50 emails per mailbox)
• 100 domains (max. 5 mailboxes per domain)
• Use a mix of Outlook and Gmail mailboxes.

Cost breakdown:

• 500 mailboxes x $5/mailbox = $2500
• 100 domains x $10/domain = $1000
• Platform cost: TBD (min. ~$2000)

Total: ~$5500

There you go! Now you can send up to 750K emails per month.

Most important part is not the infrastructure, but the management and monitoring of it.

You need to monitor the domain reputation at the very least, and test your inboxing rate once in a while too.

Great question! I wrote a bit about it https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/burned-domain-name-all-emails-goes-to-spam-how-to-fix-it.1652040/ but the trick is in monitoring everything and reducing your bounce and spam complaints as much as possible.
So, monitor your domain with Google Postmaster, monitor your IP with HetrixTools, monitor your spam complaints, and balance it all with some "counter-spam" measures. For that I had started working on an email network that we were using for each 2 emails sent (send 1 counter-measure email, for 2 real emails sent) to balance out the complaints, but I stopped working with the client as they had financial issues.
Also, doing domain and IP rotation is important to avoid always "hitting the same nail" when someone report you (mark as spam).

What are you using to send? Servers, Softwares, list cleaning....

We were using MailWizz installed on a Linux server (you need a bit more RAM than CPU), and BulkEmailChecker for the emails.
