SendBlaster , will my ip get blacklisted somewhere using just hostgator SMTP?

I'd like to scale up a little, less than 10,000 emails a day.

I want to protect my static ip at home. When I use sendblaster plus the SMTP on my hostgator email accounts, can reciever or sites see my ip and eventually ban me? Do I need to use sendblaster+hostgator+vps.. or not realy?

:)

You're asking if you can blast emails directly from your home IP address? That's a really, really bad idea.

What will most likely happen is a bit different than what happens if you get caught spamming from an external server. In those cases, you usually get IP blacklisted by ISPs and get your emails blocked. It happens on the receiver side, almost like a pre-email box spam filter. If you get your home IP blocked, it happens on your SENDER side. In other words, your ability to send any SMTP emails, period, will be blocked on your account. That's in addition to possibly getting blocked on the receiver side as well.

Anyway. It's a bad idea.

What if the machine on which Sendblaster is installed has an internet connection with dynamic IP? And how about a combination of Sendblaster on home computer + dynamic IP internet connection + a smtp solution?
