Hi there... I'm fairly new here and am having a go at programming my own mass mailing tool. I'm using the .NET language (programming in Visual Basic) and am having trouble interfacing with an SMTP server through a HTTP proxy. I've written a nice little class that returns a live, working proxy and have played around with .NET's built-in functionality for sending SMTP mail. As you may know, they have no built-in functionality for using a proxy with their SMTP classes. I've found that I can use Chilkat's .dll to implement such functionality but I would like to learn how to do it on my own. If anyone would be interested in 'taking me under their .NET wing' persay please let me know. I also wouldn't mind sharing my proxy-lookup class with whomever helped me.
