There used to be a way using yahoo, hotmail and even google ... now I believe who ever does have a way not sure if they will share it with you

I have used gmail and mailchimp
For Gmail: i tried testing with 1 fb mail it went through[my own mail address]
However when i tried sending in bulk like about 200, all failed and got redirected mails from fb saying Post Delivery Failed Notice something like that
I am guessing after sending 5-10 mails, fb automatically detects it
For mailchip: when i sent the 2k emails 0% were opened
Interesting..thanks for sharing that. In my own experience, I sent about 1900 through Mailchimp, and surprisingly 2 opened it but 0 clicked it. 154 bounced... I was reading elsewhere on the forum that perhaps you can send up to 10 per hour...It seems like this could be huge but we need to figure it out somehow!

Mr music producer, why not sign up to http://audiojungle.net and sell jingles, intro, etc ... thats what I do with my beats

I'm a girl, actually, but I have thought about that! I'm actually wanting to explore this option with the email list....if it's possible! Do you have good success with audio jungle? It seems like you could make more money potentially with emailing people to go to your site where you sell beats if they are targeted. I produce mainly hip hop beats and it seems like getting in the Soundclick game is a bit late and there are so many producers already! Emailing people directly might give me an edge...that's my logic...ideas?

If you are in to music production there really is no reason for you to email people, that site get a lot of traffic.. all you have to do is WORK and upload your beats there

Thanks for the link! I will check out your music My impression is that most people who go to Audio Jungle want to get background music and I think I will upload my beats there too. I'm actually wanting to target aspiring rappers and singers who want to buy instrumentals to record to. I don't think that demographic uses Audio Jungle; am I wrong about that?
