@alexio the only thing doesnt matter how u do it is that u should not forget that if somebody does judge u it could cost up to 300 000€ for sending E-Mails without a OptIn. Thats why I would recommend u save money and do it with Servers in virtualboxes but not from ur private Internet. (Safety first) or just buy a Option. If u would have OptIns for those addresses it wouldnt be a problem at all and unfortunately is sending bulk mails without OptIns in theyre eyes spam and a criminal act so take care. Cause even if theyre registered on ur application but in ur use of terms like u said u forgot to write it in u have no OptIn.
But alternative depent on which market ur working if u need a simple or double Optin. For Double OptIn its a bit trickie but also possible cause u need acces to theyre Inbox and accept it via link. If u need just a simple OptIn u can build a gambling site where is written if they want to win the price they agree that cooperationcompanys and sponsor are allowed to use theyre datas for marketing. If u have this site u can simple via PHP Curl and Cronjobs register ur whole existing database on this gamblingsite and If u need the OptIn u will have it . If theyre coming some Issue u could still be the victim that somebody else registered this person to bother him Its not the cleanest way to get OptIns but it will work.

U can imagine this kind of servers like mail exchanges theyre in charge of the forwarding If u find one which is not right set up u can actually have a lot of fun with it

About the smarthost & sending from home (or outside), i'm not sure it's a great idea in my case
I still think that interspire + vps + 15 IPs is the better solution for a long term. Does anyone do NOT recommend this and can explain why ?

It depends on ur skills. It is actually easier than u think if u have a laptop install virtualbox on it. Afterwards depends I would prefer that u install one server which has a router function dnsmasq will help u. After u created this "router" u create a static IP and install a script which is changing ur IP. As next u create a webserver with apache, mysql and php. This server u will connect to the internet through ur "router". (If ur in the beginning to do that I would recommend u to use ubuntu server its simple and the community is really helpfull if u need anything also there is a huge documentation for dnsmasq.) Afterwords create a PHP documen with the mail () Function and paste it on ur webserver. Ur Leads ur adding to ur table in ur db and via select ur grabbing them and afterwards saving them into a PHP variable which is the content of the receiver.

If everything is finished and ur ready to sent take break and go for a coffee where u have WIFI and start via cronjobs ur script.

Im my Opinion this is the best way cause first of all is it totally anonymous and second of all u can control everything via ur router and the best reason is u dont pay more than the coffe ur actually drinking

So ur not burning money. Cause what most of the guys forgett since the spamlaw is going stricter the VPS Provider arent joking anymore with it so if ur not looking for the details like a unsubscribe button and so one they will block u from sending emails and that really fast. In the end u will have wasted than money.

Just have a look for urself cause I also know that there some tools like sendblaster and so one but I actually never tried them cause Im happy with my method and it works for me well.

It has to suite ur skills and not beeing burned money so have look through google, youtube and so one what others are doing, What u have to integrate in ur mails if ur sending it over VPS that they dont judge it as spam.

At last but not least if u have been thinking about services like rapidmail, mailchimp or I dont know forget it first of all without OptIn as I know they will not let u sent emails and also u will share ur leads with them.

Interspire and PMTA (this allows the throttling and DNS settings etc) and you can run on vps then your only concern is getting ips from various providers and swapping when they go bad

Unless you can go in and change the headers generated by Interspire, you're going to stick out like a sore thumb. To the big five (Apple/AOL/Google/Microsoft/Yahoo), you look like a spammer.

Thanks for this helpful posts, I very much like the idea with the virtualbox, but can you tell us what is your strategy to make sure that your emails hit the inbox and not the spam folder since your server are using public open ips from wireless networks like coffee shops.

So If I go to a Coffee or another public place Im sending bulk mails without OptIN or Im spoofing the sender (Im not sure if this forum allows to talk about greyzone ). Both is actually easy first of all for sending bulk mails without OptIn u need to get a list of private IP adresses good way to get them are chatapplications (But dont forget dont mess where ur eating so dont do it with people around u create new accounts) like Facebook.
So if ur texting with them just trace theyre IP and insert it into ur List. On ur first server in the virtual box u create a Adhoc (Hotspot) make a static IP connect ur webserver through ur "router in the virtualbox" to the internet. Start command line and type in php "filename.php" and it starts. My Mailer is sending 150 Mails and than Im changing the IP and the senderadress via Script at the beginning I did it manually. ( So in the end there are just 150 Mails from 1 Sender coming)
Alternative B which works a lil bit better find a site which is allready trusted that means which exist allready years and has a huge amount of members and is sending a huge amount of mails a day and spoof this site as sender. To spoof the sender just sign up to theyre service get a mail and read out header .

If this arent methods u would work with just have a look through Youtube, Google and so one and sure there are also a lot of other ways.

The last point is also dont forget the small thinks in the Newsletter ad a unsubscribe button, a Imprint and so on.

But dont forget to create a huge amount of tester mailaccounts and insert in every block 1 so that if something is going wrong u can notice it by time.

To sent them promotion with wrong names is the 1 thing but to steal them is the other think and u actually dont want to be ripped of by somebody else whos better than u so dont do it to anybody else.

if you're still thinking about this, get sendgrid first, they have a 12k / month limit email send however it's a free service and works well

Try first with small volume and gradually take to higher. Mailchimp,sendgrid or Amazon SES they all are good as long as the bounce/spam is minimum.
