Every has their own use

KwFinder : Google Keyword Planner with some metrics .. Great for Keywords Research
Semrush : Best PPC Competitor analysis tool
Ahrefs : SEO Competition analysis, again great tool to find your SEO competitor top pages, performing keywords ..etc !

So, a mix of them would be the optimal solution. If only one of them, then hands down Ahrefs as keyword research has no use without competition analysis

I use SEMRush, IMO it is one of the better tools out there as far as features go. It is pretty comprehensive, and their keyword magic tool is pretty helpful. I like the built-in ability to export pretty much everything like CSVs with actual keyword lists, but also the PDFs that have some visual content and "long-form" information along with the standard content. Sure I can access it as long as I am paying, but sometimes minimizing costs by doing a lot of research and downloading it over a one month period can be helpful in a world where minimizing expenditures comes in clutch.

Both are good keyword researching tool but according to me, Ahref is the best one

I like using Kwfinder if I already have a keyword in mind and want to check out the competitive landscape.

And for Semrush, I use it to check competition keywords/ideas/etc.

But for me, Kwfinders competition analysis or KD is better.

Kwfinder is good for keyword research. Nothing is best in everything. It depends on your requirements that what you are going to achieve. If you looking for keyword tool with multiple features then checkout Ahrefs

The short: KWfinder

The long: What I like from semrush is the url analyzer that kwfinder doesn't offer. This is an added value that only other tools like ahrefs give. But since Semrush has been specialising way more in kw crawling than ahrefs, semrush is for me a clear winner.

Although since you are talking about kw research exclusively (not kw analysis in general), KWfinder is more niche and results generally are not only a little bit better and precise but also the UI is awesome and saves a lot of time.

Kwfinder, since it's much more affordable.

There's another tool for keyword research, Keysearch.co. It's 3 times cheaper than kwfinder.

For kw research, kw finder & ubersuggest would be a better choice.
