Hello all,

At the Mods indication I am opening a new thread rather than bumping an old one even though it was on the same subject with no replies or advices/solutions provided.

So I am in the process of getting one ready built site for CPA. The developer has sent me the keywords and when I look them up in KWfinder it sums up 2.7k volume with average 18 difficutly. However when I look them up with SEMrush I get roughly 1k volume and average 55 difficulty. Who should I trust now ?

Don't trust in difficult score. Check it manually and I prefer ahref than kwfinder or semrush

I wouldn't trust SEMRush much. KWFinder is one of the better Difficulty tools out there, but still based on Moz data so you should still do your own research. If you can share the other metrics from KWFinder (DA/PA) other than just Difficulty regarding these keywords I can help more.

As others have mentioned I wouldn't rely too much on difficulty score. However, I have used SEMRush, Ahrefs, and KWFinder. Difficulty score wise KWFinder is better.

I suggest checking Difficulty manually (By checking ranking site profile) and Check monthly searches by AdWord Keyword planner

Check difficulty manually.. it's not that hard and you would definitely want your own data vs what tools are telling you

keywordtool.io is my favorite over semrush and ahrefs...

I never trust on semrush difficulty score kwfinder better option.
Do manual research also to determine difficulty.

Ahrefs imo is better than both, i found semrush to be mildly useful but hardly worth the cost, kwfinder / ahrefs are much better, ahrefs being better than both imho.
