Going against the grain somewhat but I actually prefer SEM Rush but would have both if I could do.

For me ahrefs is totally off in keyword research, whereas semrush is bit better. Though still i am looking for a better service which can eliminate the manual labor.

Both tools have its pros and cons - ahrefs can detect links or new links fairly quickly as their spiders are extremely active - so if you are building links, then using ahrefs to confirm the existence would be efficient. semrush is a little different - it can provide very good insight on the keyword's value and traffic, but not as good as link detection I guess.

I preferred Ahrefs, It provides an accurate result.
