Hey everyone,

I just discovered SEMRush (what a boomer!) and I tried running it against a website I have had up for about 2 months. The website is a landing page for a product, containing your typical pricing tables, explaining what the product does, why someone might use the product, etc. All that to say, there is text on the page! The page has been indexed by google (I google site:mywebsite.com and I get a listing of my pages). However, when I put my website into SEMRush, the SEO Dashboard > Domain Analytics > Organic Keywords is 0. Does anyone know why that might be?

I haven't done any real marketing other than some light Instagram ads, and as such there aren't many visitors that have reached my page via google search. Does that have any impact on why the Organic Keywords is 0?

If it matters, I am just using the free version of SEMRush right now.

Second unrelated question: The "On Page SEO Checker" doesn't seem to work for me. I type in my url into its search box and click 'Get Ideas' and nothing happens. Page doesn't reload or load anything new. Its as if the button is nonfunctional. What gives?

Thanks for the help!

Use google search console to check site / page volume.
Use rankmath plugin to on page seo.

Thanks for your reply!

For performance on GSC: I have one query with 2 impressions, no clicks; one page with 1 click and 12 impressions; no search impressions.

Does low volume result in no organic keywords?

Low volume can have 0 search for days. Its not evenly distributed. Most tools like semrush etc use google ads/adwords to estimate volume.
For low volume keywords create hundreds of posts, or even thousands.

Hey thanks, this is super helpful to know! I thought I had configured something wrong!

When you say posts, do you mean like blog posts just on my own website? Or do you mean having backlinks link back to me? Which would would be more effective?
