Nobody has really said anything bad about Brian Dean in this thread though, have they? Backlinko resources are great if you want to learn basic White Hat / Blogging SEO tips, and I'd highly recommend checking out some of those articles regardless of your long term goals. They rank well for a reason.

Even if you don't follow advice in them, they're useful to see one person's in-depth take on successful SEO. They're definitely not the only resource you should use though, and they're not going to do you much good if you're into Black Hat.

Even Nathon Gotch is doing a video series on SEO for Semrush YT channel.
