Hi,

I am new to using scrapebox, senuke. I just got 10 new semidedicated proxies from buyproxies. If i do test all proxies in scrapebox (and without even running any other script on my machine), at a time only 1-4 proxies seem to be alive. At the same price i can also get 5 dedicated proxies from the seller. Do you think it will be better? Can I expect them to be alive at all times? (unless my own activities got them disabled). Is there any other factor to consider, like for eg a wider variety of ip addresses is prefereble?

Thanks,
Binit

When you test, are they anonymous passed? Because alive means anonymous passed. But google passed are different.

If they are not google passed, then if you wait 48 hours they are typically unblocked. Unless one of the other people using them is getting them google blocked, in which case dedicated proxies would solve that issue.

But if they are not anonymous passed then buyproxies will replace them because thats non functional.

This video should be helpful

Thanks for the response Loopline and sharing your video. It is very informative. Actually i was getting 404 on them, but they would come alive again later. As you suggest I'll talk to buyproxies and get them replaced.

Thanks,
Binit

404 means they are dead. Assuming your not being blocked by a firewall etc..

So yes BP should replace them, they are very good. I have used buyproxies for years and have hundreds of proxies with them.

Thanks loopline. I got my proxies replaced. Indeed buyproxies is good!

404 do not means they are dead, means that the page you are trying to get is not there, there are many other factors that can get you a 404 error.
google is temp banning proxies very fast, after a few searches they will ask for captcha, and after a few more searches with captcha they will soft ban your proxies for a few hours, in order to avoid this you will have to lower the threads as much as you can, perfect is 1 threads / proxy and keep a delay of min 60 sec between proxy tasks
