I have several websites to sell. They are ready to monetize, all have original content and domain names that are 5 - 16 years old. What's the best way to do this. Monetize before I sell, beef up with bought traffic before sale? Are there brokers you can pay to beef up and sell them? Where is the best place to sell them?

You could list your websites on motioninvest.com but I think they have to be monetized, so monetizing would be a good idea.
You can monetize with cpa or adding ads to your website (like adsense) but to earn that way you need traffic. Do you have any traffic? I wouldn't buy traffic.

If you want to sell sites more often in the future, e.g. make this an ongoing business, it may be wise to not beef up the sites, and explicitly say so, so the buyers are not caught by surprise later on. They may come back and buy again, or spread the word?
