Selling websites. DP compared to Flippa?

Really hoping to hear some opinions here I am thinking about selling my first website and I've been playing around on DP a little bit just to see what kind of price i could set for the website. Now after finding numerous interested buyers I am wondering if I might just be able to sell it for a little more on Flippa.

What are your experiences? Does that $20 Flippa fee ensure that you basically only find serious buyers that are willing to pay much more?

Flippa one of the best site to enlist urs WEBSITE/Domain.. U can go ahead....

Recently I have also enlist there..

Well i know it's good but are profits normally higher when selling on Flippa instead of DP?

paying a $20 fee is better then getting no dollars, you run the risk of charge backs on DP. I sold a site on DP to someone in china and went straight to the atm to take out the cash 5 minutes later, thinking I would get scammed. 20$ is nothing to have piece of mind.

So if you sell on flippa you're basically backed up by the website if the buyer tries to recall the money? That was my one concern about selling on DP and me finding a buyer so quickly =/

Go to the flippa site and read their FAQ you will get better answers there...

Flippa is just a marketplace, same as DP, neither take part in the actual transfer so neither will "back you up".

I see Flippa as a more serious, higher end marketplace, where you want waste your time with "window shoppers" like at DP.

Most people use Escrow for their websites, Escrow can be seen as a middle man service, just google their name to find more.

If your website has no revenue or traffic, you may find it better to keep the $20 and hang on to the site.

Starter sites aren't selling too well on Flippa at the moment.

I feel flippa would be more serious since it already charges 20 $ from you

and yes, you wont find window shopper like DP over there.

Flippa is full of Non-Paying bidders. So, make sure you accept bids from those who have some reputation there.
