I am trying to make a website which provides a service to buy and sell virtual items.

    For example:
If someone playing World of Warcraft and wants to sell 100 gold (in game currency) for real money. He would post it on my website. A buyer will buy it from seller and I take a cut.

My question is, what is the best way for me to handle this situation so the buyer will not dispute it and get a charge back. I don't want to use a service like escrow.

    Thanks.

If I remember some people are selling virtual ecommerce script somewhere if you need it.
Btw escrow is everywhere, is good for buyers and sellers. In order to get no chargeback you need to sell only legit items, but Bitcoin instead of paypal would help, I'd always use escrow though.

I really don't know, paypal change their Term of service frequently, you should read all of their ToS. Bitcoin is better in this way, I hope you are asking only for legit items to sell though.

Thank you for sharing your experience with me. I really appreciate it. The service I am making is related to my example. Everything is legit and there is no scam. I just figured if others with similar experience that sell virtual items can share their experience with me.
