Looking for some advice. I recently started a business & it's focused on beauty & wellness for women. I want to build my Instagram & post my product but I'm wondering how to go about it. If I post my product as it is now I wonder if it will take me a long time to build- or if I should post inspiring pictures- build it up to 10k+ & then post my product once I have an audience. Any advice welcome.

I would personally build the account up first.

Depends on your approach, the instagram account, does it revolve purely on your business (products)

same here, i would build it up and after that i would start with not so obvious product placements.
people will get interessted so you will have an excuse later to "publish" your product

So just build it up then add product pics gradually? Not build it then delete all pics & change the name & what not?

You don't need to do that. Post beauty pictures always great high quality pictures that you would want to see everyday and when you have engagement announce the debut of your online store. Personally I built up my page and asked my followers few weeks ago if they would want me to sell things related to my niche and they were all excited. People usually love to buy lol.

As long as you post pictures related to your board/page and what your selling you should be good.

I actually added my URL at the time I created my account because I wanted to position myself as an authority. However, I didn't tell anyone to click the link on my bio until I increased my followers around the 3k or 5k mark.

As far as pics go, I just uploaded pics related to my niche and made my own tweaks to it. Nothing that says, GO TO MY SITE NOW.

I run multiple mini ecommerce sites btw.

you really don't need to delete all pics if you post related stuff, also you should be quite fine having the name and url that you want to promote from the start.

If you work locally, instagram can be a "marketing done right". Also can be good service for engagement that target group of people about this kind of products. Instagram can increase also your online sales if you have right target group of "followers" on it. Its about modern marketing.

I joined an mlm w/ products I love- they are related to beauty & wellness so I created a fitness Inspo page. I've not spent much time on it but I have around 1400 followers that I've done manually because my follow liker isn't following.. I have a catchy name & quality photos- I just don't want to be "stoned" when I start posting things to sell ha ... I made up another page for my product alone so I thought about just shouting out that page a lot from the fitness page. Does that sound solid? I'm not big into mlm's but I see the benefit in joining this one due to the fact that I spend around $300 a month on the products because they have improved my quality of life. But when people hear about it they think mlm- or maybe that's just me. Idk.

I think you just post that relevant with product that you sell..don't go so far about other product or content...
