Ok So I wrote this ebook, and it seemed to go over pretty well..Now how do I market it before it winds up as someone elses work?

Submit to Clickbank -> Create a limited sale -> Surge of sales -> High Clickbank ranking -> Affiliates will see it -> Affiliates will promo. :)

Awesome Thank you!

Do people make much money selling ebooks on Clickbank? I started one and was curious...

thanks

They make A LOT of money. :) Easily 6 figures every month for top 5ish, and that's counting back-end sales and lead generation. Ahem.

It all depends on many things. How good your product is, how many affiliates you get, how exposed you get.

You cant just create an ebook, put in on clickbank and earn 6 figures a month. ;)

Yup, what he said.

It's also quite difficult to get your ebook to the top 5. It requires a really unique ebook or plain and simple business relationships with big name marketers. A big push on a launch helps tremendously on Clickbank. Concentrate on giving more to the affiliates rather than making more yourself.

Think of Clickbank as a lead generation marketplace rather than making money off your ebook. You'll make a lot more in the long run. :)

Create a limited sale?

Could you explain, please, piggy?:)

Limited sale is when you say stuff like:

- Only 30 copies available
- First 10 orders at $47 thereafter $79
- Price goes up with every order (with any accompanying price increaser script)

etc..

Just some pressure points to make prospects act impulsively.

Are CB OK with that? I know they are happy for you to change commission rates after the setup but is it OK to jack up the price?

What are some other ways to get a shit load of affiliates to promote you? Is $50 commision on a $100 product good?

Or... would you want to use some sort of membership/affiliate recruiting script like the butter*fly ma*rketing script or L*aunch F*ormula marketing script to rapidly build a list of prospective buyers and affiliates?

You can offer a watered down PDF or audio, or video version as the freebie in exchange for their name and email address. Once they've signed up and confirmed their subscription, you throw them a one time offer (OTO) for the actual ebook at a discounted price. Buy or not, they will also immediately become your affiliate for the ebook. Meanwhile, you have em on your email list and you can upsell, cross sell and do JVs with other folks. Those folks who did buy your OTO, you can double upsell them immediately for your coaching program (also at a discounted price).

Most importantly, you might want to plan your marketing at the same time (e.g. ppc, forum marketing, articles etc.)

oops... methinks I ramble a lil too much :p

good luck with the launch :)

Cheerio

No.... 75 atleast + you should offer bonuses of like a hundred or so for every 10 sales.

How about if your product is the be all end all of something, everything is included in that one product your selling for $100, you even make that promise in your salesletter that you won't sell them more junk. In order to make money you would need atleast $50 would affiliates prmote you if your good? I don't know 75% is a little to nice.

Also are there any good ebooks for clickbank product creation?

you can also create exclusive bonuses related to your book and offer it to various members in various forums. one thin is 4 sure u should knw hw to mkt urself

I would start learning more about PayPerClick programs like Adwords and look into ways to setup an affiliate program for your ebook
