Selling stuff on social media?

Just wondering if you guys have any tips for selling stuff on social media. Like is it plausible to make a social media account just for a new store and only post products to it? Or is the correct way of doing it where you are supposed to just post random stuff for that niche (like memes, cool pics, etc) then post the occasional product?

You can post both alternately to promote your products and entertain your market with memes and the like.

I feel like the best way to proceed is to post a mixed content to get people seeing your posts and drawing attention to your account. The more people that see your posts the more people who will follow and then they will see your content regularly and be more likely to buy the products you are offering.

If you have target audience on your Fan page or profile then it's okay or else take paid services like FB Ads and Twitter for Business.... but you should confirm the hashtags for your business area still..,.

Your products and other stuff like images and short videos of topics related to your products.

Mix your content . Use your social media to promote offers and as well content. Your content or somebody else content.

Best thing to do, if you are a beginner is to google top accounts for your niche and social media platform and follow them with your personal account for a couple of weeks. This way you will get a real feel of how users feel and interact with great social media accounts.
