Hello BHW,

I was curious if anyone knew of a good payment processor to avoid chargebacks for selling virtual goods such as Instagram accounts or shoutouts. I have been selling Instagram shoutouts for quite some time, and every so often I am faced with a chargeback on Paypal. Is there a better way to do business with virtual goods?

Thanks

Fuck paypal and use skrill previously known as moneybookers. Ever since I started using skrill IVE NEVER HAD A CHARGEBACK, just because its a bitch to chargeback through skrill and not as easy as paypal. If they really want anything from you they will register a skrill account.

You can always get paid with cryptocurrency.

On a simpler note try Square, 2Checkout, Google Wallet or Skrill for a better experience.

2Checkout should work great for you , it accepts CC

You'll always have the chance to get chargebacked with paypal and there is no real way to avoid it..A lot of people, especially streamers, have had problems with that matter

Use skrill or sell only to people you have a good relationship. When I was selling big accounts I told people to pay me in Western Union and I had a lawyer write up a contract. It just depends on how big of accounts you are selling and where your customer is located.

Tell them to send the money as "family " or "gift" via paypal - there is no option for chargeback when they pay with this feature.

or just use BTC

I have heard some positive things on Skrill, and 2CO.

you can get a chargeback on paypal, skrill or 2checkout, it doesn't matter. the only thing you can use to not to get a chargeback is bitcoin. or join a shoutout network like mine, where we screen advertisers before any payments are made.

I completely disagree about 2Checkout. Avoid them if possible. Their fraud filters in our experience are worse than paypal's. They seem to take at least a few days to answer emails. Plus, if you're selling virtual goods, they will take a larger percentage than paypal or some of the other processors. Plus if there is a chargeback, they charge you a fee to contest it, that you don't get back even if you win the chargeback.

Cryptocurrency you won't have to worry about chargebacks. Wires, while they can get reversed, are much less likely to have chargebacks as well.
