Hi guys.

I have a few questions regarding selling SEO as a service.

1. Whats the best application to track clients SERPS and offer different reports? Ideally, if there are any applications that generate "pretty nice looking" reports in just a few clicks - what are they? Just thinking to SHOW clients on a monthly basis.

2. Is there any particular tool you use to schedule in the SEO work? There is a site called Analytics SEO - they have a full process which you must do and tick off each month per client but its VERY expensive.

3. Do you have any tips on managing clients accounts for SEO?

Have a play with some software called WebCEO. It's all white hat and can manage lots of different SEO accounts.

Its also neat if you use PDF to present reports.

market samurai, google analytics, google keyword tools and seo quake. There are more but these are good, and free.
As for reports, id say microsoft word 2010 -> save files as pdf.

advanced web ranking is pretty good for ranking reports in pdf.

I suggest u try WebPosition 4, it very simple and do a great job.
I also can set cron job for crawl ranking position.
Simple is the best.

Rank Tracker
XRumer
LFE
Scrapebox
DotProject (Project Management System)
Sugar CRM (Sales/Lead Tracking)
Quickbooks (Billing)

Granted I do programming and SEO, and have a rather large client base for SEO (about 90 now).

It's been working great for me and my employees.

Is xRumer worth the price tag?
I know its good, and I know its a massive effort saver but if im readily prepared to do the work myself(and use a few free programs) is there really any need for it?

You will NEVER be able to pump out as many links as XRumer is capable of.

imho, get into an agreement with someone that will run it for you at a reduced rate. I used to do this until I got up the resources to do it myself.

Now I have my own servers, commercial internet, and run everything out of a server cabinet that pulls way to much electricity.

Excel is good, too. This would allow you to create formulas and do such things as estimate the increase in visitors over time, based on the visiting statistics now. Very good tool.

While I use many of the tools mentioned above... I do like the professional version of Traffic Travis to produce my "free website analysis" for prospects. You can find it in the download section and it does a pretty good, very fast job!
