selling replicas.. will my domain name be put in jeopardy?

About to launch a replica site hosted offshore. Should I registar the domain name offshore aswell or is there nothing that can be done to my domain name. Can I just register it with namecheap (using bogus info of course) and that be good enough?

if you are planning on building it up I would go somewhere like joker.com as they are pretty safe and to get anything out of them takes a few years in a German court, there are a couple of Swedish options as well
