So I was wondering how did these guys get caught selling repl1cas on ebay?

I know people get busted for selling repl1cas on Craiglists and flee markets because they sold to undercover cops, but how do people get bust on Ebay when it is hard to trace people?

Anyways to avoid the federal agents come knocking on your door when selling repl1cas?

What makes you think it is hard to trace people?
If you are importing products then you are leaving a trail even if the shipment is arriving at an address that is not directly connected to you.
Packages and shipments are opened all the time by Customs or other Law Enforcement and if they feel that it is worthwhile then the shipment will be tracked and premises observed.
Brand holders also employ their own teams to protect their brand.

You're right, any guides or tip reducing risk of selling low end repl1cas such as shoes, sports apparels on eBay?

TBH, I don't condone selling fakes but the only way to get away with it is to have numerous accounts because eventually all accounts will be banned.
A large number of people buying fakes will know that they are buying fakes but all it takes is one person expecting the genuine article to report you.

Don't import to your home address but use a drop. Don't pay with personal bank account. Receive payments by bitcoin, western union, moneygram etc.

Make a lot of ebay accounts.

The best tip for not getting caught is to make sure that whatever you're selling ALWAYS looks genuine enough. Every little detail needs to add up. You also need to be prepared if anything backfires. If you are selling fake Lacoste polo shirts for example, you need to make sure the material is like normal, the tag looks genuine and doesn't have "made in Turkey" and all of these other countries where they don't even have factories in etc - you have to be aware that 7/10 most buyers in designer clothes are experts, especially if they are dealing with a large amount of cash. They will thoroughly examine what they have bought and look for any minor errors such as the badge, the tag etc and they might compare it with other designer wear that they have bought in shops. I used to have a guy in Turkey that made fake designer clothes and I would bring them back to my country and it was the type of clothes that you would see in the markets in Turkey that look really bad, so always be on top. If you are going to sell shoes that look and feel nothing like the real thing then you are wasting your time and risking it. You also have to be aware that the market is always changing and certain clothes are in higher demand than others. Be aware that brands like Lacoste are very known on Ebay as a scapegoat and are a favourite choice for ripping people off. You should use brands that are not known as the basis for fake clothes such as Sergio Tacchini, Fila etc

The problem is that all it takes is 1 a hole customer to bring enough attention to take down your whole operation.

First of all the cops are not going to go on ebay and spend their money to buy merchandise to check out to see if its counterfeit out of the blue. Maybe a private investigator working for the company for the stuff that is being counterfeited, but the cops will not make a buy unless they can do a bust on the spot.

Most people are smart enough to realize what they are buying on ebay, and most don't care as long as the quality is about the same as the real thing and if they can save money. The problem is that you get these idiots who don't know any better, and are expecting the real thing. They get the item in the mail, and the first thing they do is panic thinking they got ripped off and will then immediately try to contact you, and then when you don't immediately don't respond to their email or message they then report you to ebay, and if there is no satisfaction there they decide to go to the cops.

Then they somehow get a hold of a cop who actually cares, they launch an investigation and there you go.

Besides not using your real address, you need to include a hassle free return policy and include it with every item and even cover the return shipping. If the buyer emails you, you need to get back with them ASAP and don't give them any crap if they want to do a return.

Depending on the cost of the item, and your profit margin you may even want to consider just doing a refund and letting the customer keep the item.

Also keep in mind that you can buy of fake clothing websites such as Getthelabel - a website that claims they sell genuine stuff but yet they somehow manage to make a profit of items that are more than half price and have a bad review which people say are fake clothes - if anyone does go wrong and you are approached by the authorities then name that company and say you are simply making a profit out of their clothes - anyway best of luck :thumb:

A lot of people start off selling repl1cas (myself included) but eventually you want to go legit, so much less stress.

Thats Like Telling The Cop, "These Arent My Pants, That's Not MY Dope, I Borrowed These From Juan, Arrest Him"

    Ignorance is No Excuse.

Ive always that selling your products as used is ALWAYS the best option (if any) to fence merchandise, being stolen or fraud. this of course would result in less profit but rise less suspicion. not only bc it being used but also bc it would be priced closer to the average resale market price. IT wouldnt be a Sore Thumb In The Crowd. And then once the customer gets the product, they're more than satisfied bc its in better shape than listed and instead of looking for a reason, they're excited they got a good deal. But Like mentioned above, 1 dick is too many.

I wonder how the people on apps like 5miles or offer up have 20 different adds for 20 different shoes with size 9-12 in mens all brand new stay afloat.

If you were to Move Around Week to Week, From Bazaar to Flea Market, Little Mexico To The Hood, Never Gave Anyone Contact Info For a 2nd purchase unless by chance, and obviously didnt ship to locations leading back to true identity , who would be the one to hunt you down?? If you're gonna play with fire, hit it and quit it, buy Nike one week, True Religion The Next, UGG boots the next and so on.

Also, Customs WILL allow a package to go thru, bc SWIM ordered xanax from overseas and when he had his package dropped shipped to a "safe" location, not related to him nor was that person doing anything illegal (besides receiving mail in his mailbox) , The PAckage was repackaged with customs tape and had a customs agent's card inside the package. Needless to say that route was the last time he drove down that avenue. But the package had no return address nor did it have a receivers name on the package, just an address and was delivered to the mailbox.

Anyhow, I've visited sites that let you know what you're buying isnt authentic and to this day the site still exists and continues to sell all the major brands. But it has been shut down multiple times and has changed URLS many times. Now it uses a .RU domain with no issues (i assume as it hasnt changed in over a year now) But prior to that when it used a .com domain you would go to the site and it would have a judgement posted on the page and had info on how to get your money back if you had purhcased products thru the website and got fraud goods. It said you could contact your credit card company for a full refund. So this always set my wheels turning, wondering if i could make an order, wait for the site to be shut down, contact CC company get a full return and keep the merchandise (as it said on the site you could do what you pleased with the product) But now that its gone to the .RU domain, i doubt they will ever have anybody working with law enforcement. And The Companies that filed suite against the sites were almost always UGG boots Or a Major League (NBA, NFL, NHL....) i cant recall Nike Or any Clothing Company.

    just my .02 + some

    anyhow good luck,

anything you do illegal for profit, if you want to continue to profit requires you to continue to be illegal. facts are real and Reality and odds are just odds you'll be in jail before you've made enough to walk away And Stay Away , Locked Away instead of ahead.

I think if they made 2.000.000.000 $ on ebay with that shit, then its only a normal reaction from ebay to start an investigation on the account holder.

make sure you find a good couple sellers who sell designer stuff that is 1:1 with good quality. its worth paying $100 and selling for $300. don't buy from alieexpress there stuff is trash, buy from a trusted seller on taobao. if you buy a supreme crewneck from taobao which are 1:1 and pass LC checks, you can just take the price tag off and say its lightly used and throw in a supreme sticker so they think its real. china is actually doing a really good job at making reps that don't have many flaws. don't use your real address when you ship. also don't dropship those. you can also just send them a paypal invoice and not sell to them on eBay. hope that helps. (sorry for grammar) its super late and i haven't slept yet.
