Hey guys,
I’m a game dev and have worked with a few companies and done my own solo projects. I have my own games published on steam and they make me passive income monthly. I have a bunch of templates I’ve made and a few games that are ready to publish on steam or mobile storefronts that I know would make good money if they were marketed. But I feel as though I don’t have the money or expertise right now to support and market these projects correctly. So, where is the best place to sell the source code and game so someone else can profit long term? Does it exist and is this something people would look for?

You could do some tutorials on youtube, leak your source code every week with a new video, and for an indpeth covering of all the skills you need there are a couple of game affiliates, or you can quickly make your own video series or ebooks

Perhaps you could try to monetize it through an asset store or by licensing it to a publisher.

There are many marketplaces for this such as: Codecanyon, SellAnyCode, SellMyApp, BuyMySourceCode, etc.

You can also list your services on Fiverr, Upwork, etc.

Codecanyon, SellAnyCode?
Those are rag where you are ripped off your project in a cheap.
You have to find your client by yourself.
you can try with fb ads or email marketing.

Sorry to mess your answer, @Aian11

tch.io is a popular indie game platform where you can buy game templates or complete games. You can also set your own prices and even provide source code to buyers who want to modify or build your game.

The same as John mentioned above, you'll get ripped off selling your source code on site like codecanyon.

If you're good at game design and can come up with good concepts, you can sell small casual games to companies & investors for $XXXX each.

CodeCanyon is your best bet
Also, search on google for ''codecanyon alternatives'' to find some interesting secondary marketplaces to sell this kind of item

I don't think anyone would buy these for anything they're worth. Maybe you could sell them for a very low price.

Why? There is a market for it
Because generally no one wants to buy a game whose coding infrastructure was created by someone else. There may be many technical problems, updating the game and mastering the game infrastructure is a must.

Many crypto projects need some easily made and modified marketing material as proof of development for the millions they raised from suckers.

Consider that option, you can DM me if you need some contacts.

Other than that? It's useless.

This actually makes a lot of sense :)
