First off i know this isn't technically ebay related but its a question that got brought up when i read the thread linked in the sticky about selling on amazon. I found a product that i want to buy wholesale from China, and then list on amazon to sell. The problem is that i would be buying OEM products, and I don't know where to list them on amazon. Should I just list it as a brand name product and then ship the OEM part? I mean its the same product just with a different label. Will this be looked down upon?

Thanks in advance :)

In the short term, I am sure you could get away with it for a while. It really is hit or miss with amazon as a single bad review could sink you.

If you want to extend the life if your account start with a 100% legit product and build rep with that. A friendly letter asking for feedback is always helpful.

stay away from amazon UK- they are a nightmare- USA amazon far easier to deal with. If you are using real info on the amazon a/c then i wouldnt bother with oem at all, its only going to lead to eventual block and ban, better save legit amazon a/c for something less obviously against their T&C

Be careful with Amazon USA as well. My second week there I sold almost 15k and they managed to keep almost 10k of it for 6 months. They made me jump through all sorts of hoops to get it back including pics of product, positive feedbacks from buyers, tracking numbers, bank account info, accounts on ebay in good standing and many other things. After they made me do this they said well, did you read the terms? We can do what we want, they finally released at exactly 6 months. BTW, this was with completely legit inventory of refurbished items and I had done every step properly.

oh dear.....not many thumbs up for Amazon selling.
