Selling product that i bought from amazon, Illegaly?

I want to sell a product that amazon is selling. I have found the manufacture on Alibaba for the same product as amazon, but i don't want to bulk order, i want to slowly scale it up.

So i think about ordering a small amount from amazon and resell it on my ecommerce site. Is this possible? I'm very new to this. thaanks!

Yes and it is perfectly legal.

It is what the other guys here call dropshiping. Many buy from Amazon & sell to eBay.

Search around here & you will see.

A lot of scammers on Alibaba. Make sure you find a reliable source who won't rip you off once you start bulk buying. It's good that you will start small and then scale up. Never fully trust anybody.

It's a cool idea, but be carefull on alibaba as I was ripped few times. start small

Beware of Alibaba my dear friend. There is lot of scam post in it and they do rip you off when you start ordering in Bulk. I heard a similar case about Alibaba with an Indian vendor in Bangalore

As some others have said definitively test the suppliers first. Yes this requires almost 2 months in most cases to get a trial product but its worth it.

A lot of times they don't give you what they show in the pictures or the quality is HORRIBLY wrong . Like a clear counterfeit product with different logo and everything.

Aliexpress is actually a lot better but its not as good pricing and not as many products.

It depends on what product you will be selling. Just an example where this would be illegal :
If you are selling branded sunglasses/eyewears, you almost always need to have the dealer license from Luxotica ( almost 90% of the big brands are owned by them). Take my words for it because I have been in this industry for considerable amount of time.

So, I would suggest that you should do proper studies before trying to sell it, even on your own site.
