Selling posting rights to subreddit?

How could I sell posting rights in a subreddit I own without getting banned?

I know I should do it off the platform but has anyone done this before who could give me tips on how to do it safely?

The niche is NOT NSFW/OF.

Reddit is harsh on this, so the only real approach is handling everything off platform and making any new access look like a normal mod choice. Add them later as a contributor avoid patterns that look paid, dont leave any trace that suggests a deal.
 
Sure, the smoothest way is to make the whole thing look like a natural moderator addition. If everything is arranged off site and the new poster blends in as a normal contributor it tends to go through without raising eyebrows.
 
Do you mean granting someone mod/contributor access to post, or are you talking about selling one off sponsored posts inside the sub?
 
Monetize posting rights off platform using contracts and external payments, keeping all transactions outside Reddit. Always retain moderation control and set clear posting rules to stay safe

Selling the right to post certain amont of posts per month but not moderator rights.

But if I do the transactions off platform can't the buyer make screenshots of chat about transactions off platform and send those to reddit admin to get me removed as a mod?
 
You cannot safely sell "posting rights" on Reddit as it explicitly violates their Moderator Code of Conduct regarding profiting from moderation; any formal arrangement risks the subreddit being banned. The only semi-safe approach is to privately broker sponsored content deals with trusted users off-platform and have them submit posts organically, but this carries significant risk of being reported.
 
Reddit is very strict on this, so the best is to do it off the platform.

you have to be very carefull with this as reddit is pretty strict with all this..

If your subreddit is attractive enough, you can include posting privileges as part of your marketing service package. Selling posting rights for subreddits on Reddit doesn’t seem very feasible

You should be able to list this marketplace and get laid per post you allow to post.
 
The easiest way is to make it look like a normal mod add. As long as it’s handled off-site and the new poster acts like a regular member, it rarely raises any red flags.
 
I would ONLY keep the buyer in your inner circle of people you already do business with. You might have to drop to a reasonable amount for their budget, if not great, but anyway, you should think with safety in mind. Just acting like nothing is changing hands, and this is merely you giving mod access, for security, and business purposes. The person just happens to advertise their own affilaite site. Which i'm sure according to your subbreddit rules is perfectly valid? Also you just happen to without reddit knowing, collect a monthly fee to support the sub, and help tutor and moderate what they post! lol (if you need a service invoice!)

Best don't have one rule for them an another for us when it comes to posting affiliate links though.

I don't want to add them as a mod - I want to sell them posting rights for their own services - them posting their YT channel videos. The problem is that thus far they have posted their videos without any restrictions.

They are stranges to me and I haven't done any business with them before.

They aren't affiliates, they have their own business. The problem is that thus far they have posted their videos without any restrictions.
