Selling Paysafecards on eBay = mega-profit???

I just came across this listing:

As you can see, he is selling a €50 paysafe card for €80, that means if you buy from him you pay €30 more than face value.

And now look at this, 42 sold.

Why in the world are 42 people buying a psc for €30 more than face value on eBay if they could just go the the next shop or gas station and get it for €50?

I do not get this ... are these buyers going to scam the seller in any way (paypal dispute etc.) or are they really so dumb?

When you get them at the gas station you need to pay taxes and activation fees on those so the profit might be a bit lower... (at least the similar cards I got here)
But still, why would one buy those from ebay at such an high price...

When I went to the gas station and bought a €10 psc, I paid €10 .....

Of course if he sells on eBay he has to pay fees, so if he sells for €10 then he would lose money instead of making a profit ....
But I think that these buyers are going to scam in any way, like e.g. filing a dispute for already redeemed or unauthoiruzed payment etc.
Because only if you live under a rock and there is absolutely no gas station etc within hundreds of miles then you normally would buy this on ebay ...

Well, some buyers are really fraud and they make refund after receiving their purchased item from the buyer. They do not need to back money by disputing paypal fund, ebay has the buyer protection policy and they utilize it properly for their self advantage.

Some buyers purchase because Paysafecard distribution is not available in most countries.
