So recently I bought a few android tv streaming boxs. I just dont know how to sell online. There seems to be plenty of competition as it is. Is there a way I can boost my ebay sales somehow?

Use websites like Clickbanks which is generally used for getting clicks from targeted users else you can go with Facebook Marketing.

The trick to selling online or offline is volume pricing discounts so you can beat competition with either sales or special promotions (while still making money). Amazon is 75% 3rd party volume resellers, so if you have enough start up capital to use you can easily compete on a pricing level.

Thank you! I also would like to know how would I go about finding a target audience and utilizing facebook marketing to its fullest potential for this?

I have run a few t-shirt campaigns with facebook and have been unsuccessful every time.

Speaking with years of Ecommerce experience behind me...

Selling on amazon and ebay is all about making lots of small profits. There is no barrier of entry to these sites and because of this there is a lot of competition. Be prepared to make $5 a sale at most, which is fine when you are selling 100 items a day but if you don't have this volume its just not going to work. You need to look into an ecommerce store ASAP.

You have also done this in the wrong order completely, you should know where to sell these items and how much you are going to make before you even think about buying them. You should know prices of competitors and factor in what happens is someone new comes along and undercuts you. It happens, ebay and amazon is all about being cheap, its very cut throat.

If I were you I would just do anything you can to get rid of these items, electronics are not suited to small volume sellers. If you have 1 or 2 returned your entire profit for the day or even week can be wiped out. The margins are that small and typically asian wholesellers will not be accepting returns, these failures will come out of your pocket.

If you want to know the correct thing to do, open a wholesale account with a company. It does not matter which or what niche it is. You may need to form a legal company, register for tax and all that stuff but its really not hard.

List EVERYTHING they sell on ebay. Wait to get 2/3 orders together then order those items. Do this for 5/6 weeks, work out if its profitable for you or not and if it is you should see patterns in the sales and you should know the popular items to keep on stock... While ebay will not make you rich, it's very good for gaining information on popular products which you can judge by how many sales, watchers, bids and messages you get from each item.

This is the way eCommerce is done, buying stock on a whim and a prayer that you will sell it is not a good decision. We have 35 suppliers all around the world, even stuff in America only takes 3 days to get to us in the UK and we can get items from Europe next day. Sure, the customer has a small delay in their order but majority of the time its not a problem.

We keep very very little in our store room and we try and buy as much as we can with the customers money.

That's a serious reply from Ste Hughes. Seize the info in it!
