Selling on Ebay - Noobs Questions

I have read the sticky post bout EBAY FAQS and didn't found what I was looking for. However there might be a chance that I have missed it..so apologies in advance

I am planning to sell LEATHER JACKETS & Branded Jeans (REAL NOT FAKE - NEW BUT OPENED) on EBay Australia. I live in other country and can ship it to Australia via FEDEX or DHL. I have an address, bank account, paypal account in Australia. I can also use that address for ITEM RETURNS etc.

1. Does paypal allow this legally?
2. Do I need to be careful of something?
3. Any tips/suggestions are appreciated.
4. Can I signup from my country without any issues of IP detection. I will use my australian information when signing up for ebay account.
5. Can i sign up from my country and sell my items in other countries?

I believe it depends on the brands but I've never sold clothes so I'm not sure. Look at Vero programme

I asked ebay the same question about signing up for another country and selling from that country and they said its fine.

I will answer some things I know
Paypal doesn't accept you create an australia paypal account if you don't live in australia because you will need send them your information to verify your account. In case if you have a legal australia paypal account. When you sign in your account. You have to change current country IP to australia IP. You will be banned your account immediately. If you don't do that. When you sign in an australia ebay account. You also need to change to australia IP. Because ebay and paypal they are strict on this issue.

Ebay are fine with him creating an account in australia if hes not in australia. Not sure about paypal

Actually I have a friend in Australia so everything is legal and fine about accounts & addresses. However as goodsperson said, do I really need to change my IP to australia to log in EBAY and PAYPAL?

Use a VPS and sign in from any part of the world USING/THROUGH the VPS, so you'll maintain the same IP unique IP both for PP & eB.

The PP acc create from this URL: paypal.com/au/
The eB acc create from this URL: ebay.com.au

You can select from the dropdown list AU, of course. Your PP & eB accounts will be "AU" bound both as country and as "account" (site) registration on both places, no matter if the VPS IP is not Australian. Just make sure your open clearly those URLs. Of course you can buy from AU an AU VPS, your choice. Do your research.

If you already have a PP AU acc, then you don't need to create a new one then (except if it's not a Business one).
