Why is it Amazon not good for selling?

Takes two weeks to get your money. Doesn't suck if you're not dropshipping.

Selling on amazon is great, prices are way higher. I make about 2000 every 2 weeks. The only downside is that as a new seller, they will place "hold" type restrictions on your money like paypal does, but the time period is usually much shorter. After a certain amount of feedback, you can manually disburse your money. The fees are also a tad higher and you are restricted to selling only what is in the amazon catalog (but there is lots of stuff).

Yea, I'm on the individual selling plan so I have to wait the two weeks and satisfied buyers not leaving feedback sucks sometimes

How do you calculate all the fees that apply? Also can you sell there and ship the items yourself or do you need to ship them to amazon to distribute?
