Selling mobile websites without my own website

Hi , I am planning to get into selling mobile websites to local business.
My method will be creating a Optimize press landing page specific to business that i target to sell.
On Landing page I place a video showing his website before and after and explaining why he should get mobile site. Then I place a contact for if interested he contacts me.

Question:
I do not have any corporate website. Like local web agency... Do you think this is very important to get authority and can help sales ? Or do you think customers do not care and I can start selling without my own website ?

customers will ask for demo work so I would say yes

you need your own, and your own needs to look really good.

samples are always important when you try to sell websites online. No matter they are online or offline, but working samples are the best. It doesn't have to be a real life website but some working demo.

Go and build a demo site right now. Build it for one category of local business you know you are going to target, so that whichever local business is your first customer, you can give them that design very quickly, plus you know they already like the look of it! Use them for testimonial afterwards (fast turnaround time, etc!)
