How to convince business owners that they need a mobile app for their potential? What is a good price to sell them for? I was thinking around the range of $199 while getting it from a gig site for the low. How would you market this, in your local paper?

In our experience SMB's seem to by fine paying $1,000 to $2,000 for iPhone, iPad and Android App design and publishing and $75 to $150 a month for the App Hosting, an App Panel to do real time synced updates, Analytics, unlimited Push Notifications and Unlimited Geo-Fencing.

I have a question about hosting. How do you host an App ?
Plus the App is on their account or yours ? ( Developper account I mean )

Thank you for answering.

And for the OP : 199$ is really low, think about it, if you have a business and you earn 10 000$ a month, wouldn't you pay once 199$ for an app ? Eyes closed ! But you'll think "Well, if I pay more, I'll get better ! And I have enough money" and they will never buy your app for 199$

Try a freelancing site. I've seen many people look for mobile apps for more than $199 that's for sure.

As far as the developer accounts, our resellers do it both ways, upload to their developer accounts or have the client obtain their own.

I agree, That is pretty much a wholesale / below wholesale price, definitely not a retail price.

Oh i really wasn't sure at all how much they went for i read in a book a couple hundred but this was for the MOST BASIC APP, say for a realtor that needs an app for his site.
