yo guys, I have a domain name but don't really have use for it.

Is it possible to sell just a domain name on flippa? No website history / visitors etc? Also, what do you think of go daddy auctions if this can't be done on flippa?

Rep / thanks will be given for any help.

I had something similar. Try SEDO for selling the domain, that is probably a better option than Flippa.

Yeah Flippa buyers are usually there for established sites,
but you should try out NameJet or Sedo for domain sales.

I've sold on sedo, flippa and dp ... the most I've gotten was on flippa but the fees make it difficult to make a profit on any domain sale. DP is only for selling low end domains because mostly wholesalers are buying there and looking steals. Sedo is a hit and miss from my experience and that's even with paying for featured listings. Also consider looking for an end user for your domain if that's an option as you'll probably get more for it but it takes sometime to find and complete a sale with an end user. You'll have to pick the lesser of the evils and list it.

thanks bro.

I've heard of flippa all my IM life, but never sedo... but it looks like sedo is 100% about selling domains, vs flippa which you can sell domains / websites in full..

I'm going to take a look at sedo as I agree that is probably the best bet.

Thanks for the tip. I'm more or less just looking for some passive income here, so I won't be going seeking out any sellers or end users.. just want to make a post somewhere and see what happens.

thanks for the feedback

SEDO has a good reputation in domain selling so hope that you would get a good deal there.

SEDO is great as a marketplace, and their service is excellent, but their suggested prices are completely out in my opinion. They are trying to inflate the average market prices. If you want to make sales you should go in at half the suggested price or double ;) Also their affiliate program sucks camel balls.

Sedo is good. But You can use moniker too. But I think the best would be to get an appraisal from DNF forum and try to sell there too.
