So I went on Etsy to sell followers, I got banned within 2 weeks on two stores, while there are other big accounts doing their thing like nothing is happening, what's the trick here? is it explicity in the listings? is it photos?

Churn and burn accounts...they will be eventually banned as well
But they are already building new accounts
Some will be quickly banned and others will last longer
