Selling Fakes on eBay

All you people that are suggesting to sell fakes locally in person are making me laugh.

That is the last thing I would ever do if I sold fakes giving how your odds of getting caught skyrocket!

Law enforcement setup stings all the time!

You almost never hear about anyone getting caught or sued that sell on Ebay or Amazon (especially on a stealth account) because there is way and I mean way to many people doing it!

If you do have someone that is upset with you when they purchase an item from you just refund their money and tell them that they can keep what they bought. Yes you will lose money but its better to lose money and look like an innocent bystander than a full blown criminal.

I personally don't sell fake merchandise because it's deceitful and morally wrong!

Just buy authentic wholesale merchandise from the manufacturer. Its better quality and you will have more success of it staying sold.

I don't know what you are trying to sell, but do not try to sell fake designer brand names (e.g. Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, etc.) You will be hit with a huge fine for selling those. The manufactures crack down on those fakes very fast. They actually have a department specializing in finding unauthentic products.

Selling fakes is illegal and its actually a federal crime not a state or county level crime

lol are you selling kicks? i am assuming based off of your name. i am a sneakerhead myself as well.

Not worth it anymore. I was sued a couple years ago over handbags and hair straighteners. I was able to keep my ebay account but I'm banned from paypal. I now have a web store and I sell on ebay using a merchant account. I only sell legit items. I came very close to being arrested. It's not a long term business model.

As long as you discretely mention they're fake in the description, end auction early as soon as you get bid, and call the buyer to make sure they know they're fake before you ship out.

The problem with that scenario is that by mentioning (however discretely) that they are fake and by contacting buyer you are leaving no option to plead ignorance, if worst case happens seller could at least say items were bought in good faith to resell and it would be 50/50 if a judge believed it but that option goes out of the window as soon as seller admits that items are fake. And as Ebay are a law unto themselves they will do what ever they want to anyway.

I've been banned before for selling fake Prada wallets a few years back. Not worth the hassle to buy fakes in the first place, but I guess hindsight is 20-20

Copyright laws with Music and films etc are tough, but with socks you might be ok if they are descent fakes and sold at a descent enough price (Not too low or else it will be obvious they're fakes). If the buyers receive descent copies and at a happy price they will be less inclined to report it to ebay or complain about it! If you don't fancy taking that risk, sell them on the same way the guy you bought them off sold them to you.

just do this say you are selling fake beats have this as your tittle : dr headphones mad beats or something like that so when they search for beats your item will come up without stating the brand.

Sell the fake products on AliBaba.com!

That place is filled with fakes and f*ckers, 90% from China.

Fakes can be sold on ebay. Believe it or not, U can actually make a living off fake items. I only sell authentic items in my ebay store HOwever there are people slipping thru the ebay cracks daily.....Only problem is before you find that ultimate rep, U would have wasted thousand of dollars on not so quality items...

Don't sell them on your real account. Once you lose your real account you are asking for a lot of headaches trying to get back on and staying back on.
