Selling ebooks?

Sorry for the question but is there really any profit in this =/? I have a few ideas that i would sell (since i don't actually have time to do them myself) but is there really a big market for this?

i made a quick ebook and sold 5 copies for $20 in 2 hours then stopped so yeah there is lol

Yes... but you have to put into it as you would like to take out... Don't think it's easy either... produce quality work... imagine you were in the consumer's shoes... would you purchase your e-book and be satisfied with it? Choose a niche/market that is feasible, hire a ghostwriter or write it yourself...

true that, sell on DP bro, easy quick money to be had there. Need an account with 25 posts though and active for atleast 14 days. I plan on making a site soon for selling an ebook i wrote about affiliate marketing then throwing in someother BS ebooks for free.

Exactly - put some heart into it, give some good value (it does NOT have to be unique value, because everything has been done!)

Write about something you feel is your strength, whether it be SEO, or Social Networking... position it, and even go as far as thinking about branding with the product name etc... Get a really nice cover done up with CoverAction Pro, and really sell the value.

You could do a 30 page ebook in a weekend, and easily make $300-$500 of DP alone, not to mention WSO, and even hitting up Sitepoint etc...

Ebooks always make money. And they always will because people are always looking for packaged information that has value attached to it.

I've banked well over $700 with 2 ebooks, selling them on DP only

I made $6,000 with an ebook that I made plus 1 audio MP3, this was my first ebook, It was 27 pages and audio was 40 mins or so...All in all I had about 6 hours worth of work into it....$1,000 bucks an hour isn't soo bad....

Like the others said just be sure you offer a good product....

I just listened to some dudes CPA course yesterday that was supposed to be $500...It was basically a video on CPA that was worse than PLR shit...Don't do that.
