Sorry if this has been mentioned already, but I havent seen anything today.

Scribd has announced that it's going to be allowing publishers to sell ebooks/reports/documents etc themselves and keep 80% of the revenue.

How well this will work is difficult to say that this stage, however Scribd does have a superamazing ability to rank well in Google and there is definitely opportunities to make money here in the future.

I would begin by grabbing some profitable user names and/ or designing sellable reports based on converting keywords. The rest is up to you.

Thanks for the heads up, this looks pretty good. Ill look into it, maybe I can sell my ebook there instead of dp(so I don't have to deal with all the idiots)

I've been taking advantage of Scribd's authority in the SEs for quite some time now. I was worried that they'd start clamping down when news of how useful it is spread like wildfire in the last year or so but it looks like they're embracing it and capitalizing on it.

Good on ya, Scribd!

Thanks for the information. Signed up 2 new accounts just now :)

Yeah there's certainly potential there. Should be easy to make a little bit of extra cash this way - with a minor bit of link building to the product it should rank quite well in Google.
