A buyer purchases a gift card from you and pays through PayPal. The buyer then requests that you send them the gift code by email or eBay message. Once he or she has received the gift code, he or she then spends the gift card quickly, then requests a refund through PayPal claiming that the purchase was unauthorized, ISNT THIS POSSIBLE ?

They could also say the item was a different amount than described, file an 'item not as described' and if your account gets too many ebay will hit you with a whopping 5% on your store. If that happens just issue the return, block the buyer and move on. Charge it to the game.

It's seriously the worst thing to do.
What can be done is you could make them redeem them the code via teamviever sessions and then screenrecord withou them knowing? But the hassle is too much on this.
Selling gift cards is a no-no if you are getting paid via paypal. If it was crypto only then it's 100% safe.

I agree entirely, it seems like quick money with a lot of headaches. I have yet to try out Bitify, unsure of the volume there but it might be a more secure option than ebay for something like this.

No, electronically delivered gift cards are easy to replicate, and so create a risk of fraud.
Prepaid cards with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express logos are also prohibited because they could contain sensitive personal information.

I don't know why people even bother answering here when they have no idea what they're talking about. Seling e-gift cards is a sure way to get a chargeback on PayPal. Since it's against Ebay's policy, the buyer will get a refund no matter what happened.
