I have a one word domain that I was offered $3K for on Sedo but the ass backed out. I KNOW it was a real offer because Sedo gave me the buyers name and company and it was a perfect fit.

But Sedo SUCKS because you can bid a trillion dollars on something and they don't enforce it.

I found SnapNames and they make you register a credit card so they already appear to be better than Sedo.

1. Is SN okay or is there a better place?
2. How can I find out how much a domain is worth? I am sure that my one word domain is worth more than $3K but who knows how much more... $4K, $10K, $50K?

Any advice?

You could PM me and I can give you a real estimate of the value, with real world examples of similar domains on sale. The only way to know how much it could be worth, is to ask other people who may have experience buying or selling domains.

How much would you be happy with? Would 3k be fine for you? If you are sure its worth more, than join any domain name forum and tell people you will sell it for only 3k at Sedo or something.

you shud try flippa too , may u can get some buzz like facemash
