Selling domain names fast

I thought I would post what is working for me.

Firstly, adding your domains to Afternic, Sedo, and various other marketplaces is a good place to start, but don't expect your domain to sell quickly. I found that waiting on someone to find your domain is not the fastest way to sell a domain.

So, what is the fastest way to sell? I simply contact people who have similar domains. For example, if I own the .com and I see that the .net, .org, or .info etc. are taken I look up their WHOIS and contact them directly seeing if they'd like to acquire the .com name. You can also use DomainNameTools to find a bunch of similar domains. You can then contact them too to see if they'd be interested in buying the .com name.

As a last resort, I generally list on eBay, but this is typically not a place you'll get top dollar for your domain.

I think ebay are the best place to sell fast! anyway, any tips selling domain at namecheap! cause i have domain pr 3 that I want to sell, not premium domain though

Contacting potential end users is always great for quick flips, but you won't usually sell them for as much as if someone came to you wanting the name. It is quicker than aftermarket websites, but you can also sell them pretty quickly on places like forums, Bido, and Flippa auctions.
