Not sure what's going on here but here's one such example from the last couple of days where the seller was busted:

Now this guy sarkar selling CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW, SHERLOCK something & GALAXY BLOG POSTS, notice all of the extremely postivie reviews are from noob accounts that have 10 - 20 posts 40 at the most. On a closer inspection of only 2 - 3 pages I was able to pick out all noob usernames that I am 90% sure duplicates created by the seller himself as they MOSTLY only comment on his various threads all over the marketplace.

Check these out, I picked them out only from 2 - 3 pages.

There are many more, if you want go and look for yourself.

Again, I might be wrong but this looks awfully fishy but I will let you be the judge of that!

Be safe and only buy from trusted sellers!

Well you did a nice investigation there. Nice warn from you. Also i think everyone who want to buy something will always check the seller a lot, because $'s isnt something what you can get on easy way

hmmm interesting find.

i bet lots of people/senior members on bhw already know that it happens in almost every bst thread.

Spoofing potential customers with fake reviews is something that has been going on for a very long time and everywhere on the internet, not just BHW.

We all need to be wary of such seemingly authentic positive reviews on BST threads. I find it hard to believe some of those reviews when I read them.

That is one possibility but there are some people on here who just buy services and don't get into discussions

Well, I wish they did something about this, it's misleading as hell. Hard to trust a BST thread this way.

There are tons of these fake reviews. They are so obvious. Just look for the person with a super low post count keep reordering on threads and claiming awesome results.

bigballin6161 I agree. We should be super cautious when doing business in the market place. Although I wish there was some action taken against people posting these fake reviews, especially when it's so obvious. Maybe they can implement a system where you need to have a certain number of posts before you can post anything on a BST. This will keep the bullshit away to a certain extent.

It's sad because a lot of people end up buying services based on the reviews on the thread. Granted there are legit ones out there but something needs to be done for dishonest people bumping up their thread with crap.

Warning for voicing out my doubts? I seriously doubt that, I am not trying to point you out in particular, just the way things are going these days can't tell who is legit and who isn't. In your case there are just so many 5 - 10 post reviews all over your thread, it looks extremely fishy. But like I mentioned earlier I might be wrong and I hope I am, although it doesn't look like that.

You can't voice out the things before knowing the fact.

You are definitely wrong man!

I have sent Proof of all the orders received from those members / Payment details as well. Let Mod check it out. You will get your answer!

Either You are going to get some infraction or some warning for sure. Thread is going to close for sure.

Cheeeers!!

I guess that if you are a good member, and make good friends on the forums, then those who also buy the services (even the non-friend-till-now among them) can give you the real imputs about the quality! If you are a good member on the forums, then even those who purchased the service and aren't known to you, can provide the inputs if you ask them privately. If, for example, I buy a service here or anywhere else, then I would be very happy to give the truth about its quality to a good member if (s)he asks me... That "being a good member" strategy reduces the risks of getting a dud for losing the wallet, imho. :D

I understand what you're saying srb888, that's what I've been doing myself. Just this thread in general was filled with many posts with fresh accounts so it made me wonder if it was really legit or not.

Every marketplace faces this trick
I see self feedback everywhere and sometimes the buyers are so "dangerous" that we cannot notice them from a single seeder.

That was my general view on avoiding dud products/services. But this thread is serious enough to say more. Being fearless in exposing/pointing out wrongdoings is a big virtue. Someone has to do that, just like W130SN does that all the time. Such guys are real assets to have on any forums.

I think that such things should be openly mentioned on the forums, as well as report them, and educate others to be extra careful and also expose the cheats, so that other who would try to take such cheat-shortcuts can get scared... Thank you for exposing the cheating... at least it had exscaped me until now. IMO, you are right, having done your duty towards fellow BHW members. My humble thinking is that the threadmaker there should've been life-banned for creating multiple accounts (more than 1), and ALSO using those accounts to "scam/cheat other members", but anyways, I think he was too lucky to escape the banhammer. Guys like you put a brake on such things. Happy about that :).

nice find mate ... m sure people use fake accounts for bumping their thread
