This is a solid method and can put some serious cash in the bank. I have tried this with cars as well as home/apartment rentals. With the rental property, I would simply state that a credit report was required and would provide a link for a 3 in 1. Converted like crazy.

Here is another twist: Instead of copying everybody else, Post a nice affordable car for trades. Open to any offer, etc etc etc. Once they offer you a trade, hit them with the "Sorry too late, It was sold on another site for more than I was expecting so I took the cash. so does anyone know if that particular offer checks out? Looks like we have conflicting answers about whether the merchant validates each lead by asking where they heard about them...cuz if that's the case that offer is a dud.
