Hey guys

so i have a website it makes around $1000-1500 profit a month but has potential of making $10000 a month...

Thing is i am ranking in google for past 1 year for small keywords in this niche, while main keyword with over 2 million search per month is stuck between #15-25 ,

What would u do in this situation?

Maybe build 20-30 PBN links which may boost site to top 10 for main keyword or sell it? I am getting offered around $15k for the site.

Should i sell or keep it and try to rank main keyword with PBN or something? If i get penalized i will even lose 15k that i am getting right now...

In this situation I'd never sell the website, but maybe @ZlatanTheGod will.

Well, it depends if that potential is realistic or not. Any website can potentially make 10k/month (it could also make 100k/month) but it has to be realistic. If you can really make 10k a month why sell for 15k one time? But I don't think you got 10k potential as you have no plan and you're worried about losing the 15k deal. Without a plan I'd sell it because then it's worth what it's worth, which is around $1,000/month.

I would keep it. Try to bring the site to the next level and don't take the 15k.

As long as you don't have any debts, don't go for the 15K as you will spend them quickly.

Ask the person who offered you $15K If he could join you as JV with the half of price $7K, SO you get more money to invest with your site & potentially get to the $10K . and the same time you keep your site . But I would do that Only if i'm sure by 80% at least that I still Have a chance to get to $10K . Otherwise if you still see a lot of cons then I would prefer to sell it & put my efforts on something else .

I'd keep it and work on ranking it for the main keyword. Let's say I allocate a $5k budget to rank it on top 3 and the site will be making $8k+ per month by then and I'll flip it for $150k.

I'd try to grow it, you dont have to go after the 2m/m search keywords but im sure its other keywords you could rank for.

If the site is making $1000+ profit a month. I would invest all of that for at least 5 months on powerful links. That will enable me to break into the top 10 for the 2million search term.

Keep it, do your best to rank for main keyword(s) and sell it x10 what you can sell if for right now.

If you don't need the money for something, keep it for sure. If you need the money for whatever reason, sell it.

Got this website....www.kindoflikeford.com ranking for a bunch of longtail keywords with this word ford in them...the word ford has like 100,000 searches a month I think I could make like 10000000 if i get #1 for this ford keyword...I just need like 50 pbns, whos down to Joint Venture with me? I think the ford word relates to cars we could like sell clicks for insurance quotes? whos down brah?

Depends if you need the 15k to put into something else. If you don't need it then keep the site.

If you are making 1k a month I would keep it. I would invest a few hours a week into it. I would not use a PBN to set up links for the site. Over time google will catch on like they have always done.

Best bet is to build some social traffic around the site and build natural links. Unless you want o take a fast 12k and just sell the site.
