It’s not like the username will indeed be owned by the user, it will still be owned by telegram.

You buy good expensive usernames, do business on telegram and something happen that they ban your telegram account for example, you will lose the username.

What happen to the attached telegram username? Can you claim it since it’s yours? You certainly going to have a hard to time recovering your access to the telegram account to grab the username right?
