Sell CB ebook or make your own?

So I saw a lot of "loose weight" ebooks on clickbank, but I couldnt find any media (im new to CB, maybe someone explain where I can get banners, videos etc.) for promotion.

Or I could even make my own ebook (lost 60 pounds in a year so yeah, I kinda know what I would write) and sell it.

Which option is better? Which one for more long term? Which is easier to promote?

If you look in the affiliate section for the weight loss ebooks, there should be banners, videos and alternate landing page links available to you. You can gain some experience by promoting some of those ebooks and building a list at the same time. It is also easier to promote as an affiliate because all you really do is push traffic to the page. You don't have to worry about the refunds or customer service.

And since you've already lost weight using your own methods, you can create your own product as well in the weight loss industry.

Long term wise, it would be much better to have your own product to brand.

And short term, you can pitch the various weight loss products available to get a feel for how you want your own product to be when you do release it.

get the traffic
create your email list
and side by side you can start writing your book it will take some time to make it look professional and add all the necessary details
and once you have set up your sites/traffic source
start your own brand and simply divert all traffic to your personal product
you get 100% returns and if your conversions are high you will get more affiliates to promote your product

Id you have a lot of experience in a particular niche, definitely make your own. You can attract affiliates, do SEO for the site in which your product is promoted on and there are overall a lot more options to make money when you have your own product vs. promoting someone else's product.
