Hi everyone! I really hope someone can help me as I have been having some unresolvable issues with my Instagram account. To give you more context, the account was hacked over 2 months ago, then resolved the problem and I had my account back. About 30-40 days ago, I believe from the same cyber attack, the hackers have managed to get into my Facebook account as well. Most probably, based on the weird activities, my Instagram was then re-blocked. I have now set a two-factor authentication for my Facebook account.
The problem is that it appears to be a technical burden when I try to verify my own identity through the standard “selfie-video” process on Instagram. After submitting it, nothing else really happens. The procedure does not progress (even clicking on “Done”) and I do not get a response within the 3-4 business days. I have already tried all the followings:
- Clear the cache
- Uninstall and reinstall the app
- Re-boot my smartphone (iPhone 14 Pro Max)
I really wouldn’t want to create a new IG profile.
What can you suggest? I have already sent an email to [email protected], but "obviously" no answer over a month.
