selfie verification

I need some advice
My freelancer.com account needs a selfie verification, and I see that secondeye.15909 is selling the service.

My freelancer.com account was created with french IP and in my profil I set a french adress. I deposit a lot from a french paypal and so freelancer.com asks for verification.
So I search online and found @secondeye.15909 who is selling the service.

I go to his website and look for french ID demo
The font he use is fake and I wonder if this service is trustable.
I can't verify my account with their french ID. So I wonder if it's good to use their USA driver license.

Can I tell freelancer that I m a USA citizen and stucked in France due to Covid? Does it look suspicious that I use an USA ID to verify my account knowing that I use a French Paypal to deposit?

Does driver license photo from secondeye look real? (I never see a real one so I don't know)
